We are excited to announce the beta release of the Haveno app on Linux, and Android! Haveno is a decentralized peer-to-peer exchange platform for Monero, providing users with a secure and private way to trade. This beta release marks a significant milestone in our journey to delivering a robust, user-friendly experience across multiple platforms with the Haveno App.
Key Details
- Platforms: Linux and Android
- Stage: Alpha (Version v0.3.2-alpha)
- Current Network: Stagenet (Configured only for Stagenet in this release)
- Coins: You will be using Stagenet coins during the beta phase.
What's New?
- Cross-platform support: Haveno is now available on three major platforms—Linux, and Android—providing flexibility to users on their preferred devices.
- Federation: Having the ability to connect to multiple networks with the same client, minimizing the risk of malware networks via third party binaries at the same time increasing the market competitiveness by allowing more liquidity for each payment method. This is an earlier implementation and is subject to abuse while I find an alorithm that makes sense.
- Alpha features: The app is currently in alpha, which means we're actively looking for feedback from the community to improve performance, usability, and security.
- Stagenet configuration: During the beta phase, the app is connected to Monero's Stagenet network, allowing users to interact with the app using Stagenet coins without risking real funds.
- Haveno might become invite only - but here's why.

Bug Reporting
If you encounter any issues while using the Haveno app, we encourage you to report them on our GitHub issues page. Your feedback is crucial in helping us identify bugs, fix them, and make the app more reliable before the final release.
Using Stagenet Coins
Since Haveno is currently connected to the Stagenet, you’ll be using Stagenet Monero (XMR) for trading. Stagenet coins are free and can be obtained from a faucet, making it easy for users to try out the platform without any financial risk. This allows you to explore all of Haveno's features while we continue to fine-tune the app. You can use a service provided by RINO for example.
Help Improve the App!
